Community guidelines

Core principles:

• No shaming around pet acquisition: There will be absolutely no aggression or shaming of people who choose adoption over buying an ethically sourced pedigree puppy. The important thing is that you know what you're getting into and you love that dog from the moment it arrives to its dying breath.
• Be curious, not judgemental: Ask questions, seek to understand, challenge ideas respectfully. I'm always learning.
• No Tattle Life members: By registering on this site, you are confirming that you are not a member of Tattle Life. If you are, please leave this site, go have a long hard look in the mirror, take a walk in nature, touch some grass and never come back here.
• Disagree with ideas, not people: It's fine to challenge perspectives or disagree with content, but do so constructively. Personal attacks, harassment, or abuse will not be tolerated.
• Respect diverse experiences: Not everyone's life looks the same. Different family structures, financial situations, living arrangements, and life choices are all valid.
• No unsolicited advice: Unless someone explicitly asks for help or suggestions, assume they're sharing their experience, not requesting your input on how to fix it. Nobody asked you what you thought Sharon.
• Content warnings matter: If you're sharing something potentially distressing (animal illness, death, injury), please provide a content warning.
• No abuse: and by that I mean, no sharing of images or graphic descriptions of animal abuse. It is not to be glorified nor used to traumatise. The correct punishment for people like this should be equal, but sadly it is not.
• No spam or self-promotion: This isn't a marketplace. Genuine recommendations are welcome; relentless self-promotion is not.
• Respect privacy: Don't share others' personal information, images, or stories without explicit permission.

How I moderate:

Zero-tolerance enforcement: This is not a "report it and we'll think about it" space. If there's clear evidence of any of the following, you're out immediately. No warnings, no appeals, no second chances: DO NOT:

• Selling anything, ever
• Unsolicited advice that crosses into harassment
• Anything illegal
• Bullying or cruelty of any kind
• Unsolicited explicit content
• Sex work promotion or solicitation
• Drug dealing or promotion
• Bot accounts or spam
• Racist, discriminatory, or hateful behaviour
• Animal cruelty or abuse
• I will not hide behind vague "community guidelines" like every other platform that protects abusers and punishes victims. If you do any of the above, you're gone. Immediately. No discussion.
• If you have concerns about content or behaviour, contact me directly rather than creating public drama.
